Kate McKinnon

Kate McKinnon, globetrotting metalsmith and bead artist (www.katemckinnon.com) presenred a talk on the architecture of beadwork and how to build it well. She addressed how to keep our artistic vision fresh and our eyes open so that we can do a better job at expressing our vision through our craft.

BSSDC members were invited to dress up and wear their most fabulous creations and, just for fun, come in formal costume dress. Kate offered free photographs of all members and champagne after the meeting.
