BSSDC Programs

In January Rachel Nelson Smith joined us to give a slide show and talk on the Development of Design. Rachel is an accomplished seed bead and wire artist and often combines the two in her work. Development of Design will explore the evolution of the Ootheca cuff and it's many variations.

 

Rachel began her artistic career at a young age while working in a local bead store. Since then she's been teaching beaded and wire jewelry-making techniques for national bead shows, US bead stores and societies, local city programs, and privately.
