Bead Challenge - 2008

This year, the Bead Society of San Diego County is holding its own bead challenge.  The theme is Deep Jewel Tones – emerald, sapphire, ruby, amethyst – no pastels.  Beads to be used in the challenge will be available at the general meeting in April.  Entries are to be submitted and judged at the May meeting and prizes will be awarded at the June meeting.  All entries will be on display at the Bead Bazaar in August and returned to participants after that.

There is a $5.00 charge for the beads that will be returned when an entry is submitted – no entry, no refund.

All entries are due at the June meeting!

The Bead Societies of Los Angeles and Orange County are not joining us in a bead challenge this year.  They are participating in the bead challenge of the Bead Society of Greater Washington and the Bead Museum in Washington, D.C.  For information on that challenge, go to www.bsgw.org/celebratingbeads.
