Kate Mckinnon Making Beadwork Stronger
Learn Kate's tips and techniques for making your strung and sewn work stronger, more supple, and more wearable. This class will cover different strategies for attaching clasps, building in moveable joints, and making sewn beadwork more resistant to unraveling or tearing. Even older pieces can be renovated and worn again using Kate's edge binding technique.
The class is a hands-on lecture/demos session, in which students can either watch and learn, or purchase a small kit of bits and parts ($35) and practice along with Kate. This is one of Kate's most popular classes and you will come away from it a better Bead Engineer, no matter your skill level.
