Robin's workshop, Woven Treasure Bracelet, will cover basic techniques of finger weaving as participants create a gorgeous piece that showcases one-of-a-kind beads and treasures from their personal collections. The finished bracelet can be lavish or simple, romantic or contemporary, and can reflect a single cultural theme, if so desired.

The finger weaving technique is versatile. It can be used to make sumptuous tassels, beaded straps and necklaces. Basic instructions for this workshop will be geared toward making bracelets but participants may elect to make a tassel rather than a bracelet.

Students will need to provide the beads for this project along with a few simple tools. If available, please bring an Ott light and magnifying glasses as well. A supply list will be provided upon registration for the workshop.

Cost of the workshop is $50.00, plus an $8 kit fee. The kit includes a work board, cord (good color choices), some supplies and a detailed handout. The workshop is open to students of all skill levels.
